Researchers warn, Headbanging Dangerous. You could hurt yourself if you Rock too hard. Can you believe it? A researcher in Sydney, Australia is telling the public that you can receive neck injuries riding the highway to hell.

According to the University of NSW biomedical and injury expert, Dr Andrew McIntosh. Headbanging, violently rocking the head at the neck, that is often associated with heavy metal music can result in head and neck injuries.

"Perhaps AC/DC should play something more appropriate, such as Moon River," Dr McIntosh joked. "We would suggest a proper public health warning, as for smoking."

McIntosh, who is a fan of more laid back music, cites songs such as Spinal Tap's "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" and Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" as some of the worst offenders.
