Joe Satriani Talk About Coldplay Lawsuit

Following up on the Coldplay lawsuit by Joe Satriani over filed in Los Angeles on December 4, 2008. The lawsuit is asking for a trial by jury for damages and profits for the unauthorized use.

Satriani is now talking about the filing and his response to "Vida La Vida" by Coldplay. He goes on to say insist "If I Could Fly," was used without permission. Describing, "I felt like a dagger went right through my heart," of hearing the song for the first time.

According the article at MusicRadar.com, others noticed the similarities too. Joe says, "my e-mail box flooded with people going, 'Have you heard this song by Coldplay?" Satriani goes on to talk about developing "If I Could Fly" and why it is such a special song.
